Florida Travel Photography Will Help You Capture And Share The Experience

Florida travel photography is something that all of us should take advantage of because everyone has to travel at least occasionally. Whether the reason is for business, family or pleasure, the trip long or short, travel photography is a way of communicating our experiences to others who were not with us. This section is for both visitors to the Sunshine State and residents traveling either within or outside of Florida. Most of my personal travels are within the state but I still treat those trips as travel photography and am constantly discovering and learning new things to share through my photography.

This travel page, as this whole site, aims to give you the imaging tools you need to better capture your complete travel experiences with a camera. These image tools are both mental(knowledge and attitude) and physical(photography equipment). To me all travel is and should be an adventure with the goal to see and learn something new. Sharing that excitement and freshness with others is what keeps me taking pictures(and now writing as well).

As with all photography, the most important rule of Florida travel photography is to always have a camera with you for whatever photo opportunities might arise. Without a camera no photography is possible. A story from memory can be very compelling but good photographs that tell a story can be even better and more accurate.

I think another requirement for good travel photography is to approach all things with an open mind and few expectations. Do your homework by investigating a destination in advance and traveling with a plan but also be willing to abandon that plan whenever necessary. Weather, late planes or trains and unexpected festivals are a few of the reasons to rearrange the itinerary a little. I prefer to explore fewer things in depth to skimming shallowly over many.
